VICE PRESIDENT OF MARKETING

Company To Focus On Market Development and Proliferation of JasperGold Verification System as Leading Worldwide Formal Verification Solution

Mountain View, Calif. - November 9, 2004 - Jasper Design Automation, provider of breakthrough high-level formal verification solutions for provably correct design, today announced the appointment of Craig Cochran as its Vice President of Marketing. Mr. Cochran's extensive strategic marketing, communications and product marketing expertise will serve to drive Jasper's design verification solutions to the position of worldwide leadership.

Prior to joining Jasper, Craig Cochran was the Director of Marketing for Synopsys' Galaxy Design Platform, an integrated design implementation platform enabling advanced IC design. Before this, he managed Synopsys' Corporate Marketing group for four years, where he directed public relations and outbound communications, personally handling financial communications and planning for strategic events, including acquisitions of Avant!, Numerical, InSilicon, CoDesign, and others. Craig spent 9 years in product marketing, having launched Synopsys' formal verification and FPGA synthesis products, and managed the flagship logic synthesis product line. From 2001 to 2004, he also served on the board of directors of the Mountain View chamber of commerce.

Prior to his marketing career, Mr. Cochran was an applications engineer, a circuit designer and software engineer. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree with honor in Electrical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
