VICE PRESIDENT OF ENGINEERING

Plans Underway For Multi-National Engineering Team

Mountain View, Calif. - November 16, 2004 - Jasper Design Automation, provider of breakthrough high-level formal verification solutions for provably correct design, today named Nafees Qureshy as its new Vice President of Engineering. Mr. Qureshy brings to Jasper valuable multi-national team management experience, as well as extensive expertise in simulation and architecting large software systems.

Nafees has over 15 years of experience in EDA tools development. Prior to joining Jasper, he was Senior Director of Engineering at CoWare Inc., leading the development of System Level Design Tools based on SystemC™. Before joining CoWare, Nafees ran his own software consulting company, and prior to that, he spent 10 years at IKOS Systems Inc. as a key developer, Engineering Manager, Staff Scientist and later Director of Engineering, developing mixed level verification tools. Before IKOS, Nafees worked at Schlumberger Technologies, developing test generation tools.

Nafees received a B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, India, and an M.S. in Computer Science from Arizona State University.
