Design Automation Appoints Craig Shirley as
Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Support
Further Expansion Planned For North America And Overseas
Mountain View, Calif. - December 7, 2004 - Jasper Design
Automation, provider of breakthrough high-level formal verification
solutions for provably correct design, today announced the
appointment of Craig Shirley to the position of vice president,
Worldwide Sales and Support. A 17-year EDA veteran, Mr. Shirley
will ensure that JasperGold Verification System customers' sales and support needs
are fully addressed and successfully managed.

Prior to joining Jasper, Craig
served as vice president of North American Sales at Verisity
Design, Inc., where he built and managed a sales team of over
50 people, targeting the domestic proliferation of the company's
functional verification solutions at major accounts. Before
joining Verisity, Craig held various sales and sales management
positions at Avant!, Aspect Development, Quickturn Design
Systems, Ready Systems Corporation and Viewlogic Systems.
Craig began his early EDA
career at Intergraph Corporation where he initially worked
as an applications engineer in Huntsville, Alabama, and then
later moved to Silicon Valley to sell and support EDA tools
into the CAE/CAD/CAM markets. Craig holds a Bachelors degree
in Computer Engineering from Auburn University in Auburn,
AL, where he graduated with honors.
